I walked 4 times, and had 6 steals in a JV game. I couldn't hit for crap, so I gave up playing after 10th grade, plus my parents made me get a job....but I was just an average baseball player anyways, so it didn't really bother me too much.

Big Mac was the man, I can't think of anyone that crushed the ball the way he did.

Being a Yankee fan I have to go with the guy that really put baseball on the map, Babe Ruth.

The Athletics have 3 young 20 game winners on their staff, the cubs have zero, the Athletics could basically start Mulder Zito and Hudson plus omar daal and paul abbott and still be much better than the cubs. add in the fact that Baker is brutal on arms and the advantage is clearly for the Athletics. So you think that the Cubs pitchers arent capable of winning 20 games? I like Zito, Mulder, and Hudson, but to say that they are MUCH better is inaccurate. Prior, Wood, Maddox, Clement, and Zambrano are easily on the same level as the A's starting rotation, above their level in my opinion. And who do the A's have in the pen? Rhodes and Rincon..LMAO!! If the starter is out the A's are done, that pen is garbage. The Cubs have Borowski, Dempster, Hawkins, Mercker and Remlinger. Hell, Dempster would be the #4 pitcher on the A's. There is no way the A's are better top to bottom. The top 3 is very close, with the edge to the A's, but after that it's not even close, it's the Cubs in a landslide.

IMO it has to be the Cubs. Those guys are incredible, but Prior has to stay healthy.

Of course I have to go with the Yankees, but the O's, Sox and Jays are no joke.
