Well, he certainly doesn't want to give up baseball. I say let him play this year, but keep a close eye on him throughout the season. Being 45 years old, he won't play as well as top players, so he shouldn't be made an automatic starter or any other special privileges just because he was a great player in the major leagues.

He should just quit while he's ahead. I know he prolly doesn't wanna and who would, but he's gatta know when his carrer is done.

I say let the guy still play, i mean ive got him on my Brewers team in my Brewers dynasty and he has still got the stuff to be a productive player, albiet he may not hit alot of HRs but he sure has heck can steal the bases and i would want a guy like that on my team

Once he gets 300 homeruns and becomes more of a contact hitter, he'll be very productive..
