I've gotta go with Sheets. He's a strikeout machine. He's got a good fastball in the upper 90's with a nasty curve. He rarely ever walks a batter and has the best walk to strike ratio in the MLB. He also has a 2.66 ERA.

Mark Prior. Third start of the year and gets a win over Roger Clemens! He is a dominant young pitcher and will only get better as the year goes on

I voted for Rocket. A 9-0 start is amazing. 1st man ever to get 20 K's if I rememer correctly. If he was still a Yankee I would had voted for Sheets, Big Unit is also my most conderation.

As much as I hate it, it is Prior. If he wasn't injured his numbers would be as good as Clemens and Clemens wont keep this up all year. He will go like 2-3 games better then 50% in the 2nd half of the season.

Jason Schmidt. Since he has gotten 100% healthy in his last 8 starts he is 7-0 with a 1.40 ERA. in those 50 IP, he has given up about 25 hits and has 60+ K's. that is just sick.

Ben Sheets, a Brewers pitcher the best in the league? Sounds wierd. When Mark Prior is healthy he is the best.
