How in the world does Nomar lead the voting at shortstop when he hasn't played a game all year? Its like a popularity contest. I've always thought that it was about the kind of season they were having.
I if Johnny Estrada(ATL catcher and rookie) isn't an all-star, nobody is. He leads the majors with a .538 avg with runners in scoring postion. I think thats amazing that he can tune it up a notch like that. And he hasn't set a name for himself like Nomar.

All-Star voting means nothing. It's just to see which big market teams fans vote the most. Total joke. I don't think there should be fan voting.

All-Star voting is a joke. Plain and simple. It's always been a popularity contest, always will
