10. Worldwide Leader in Sports, my Ass.
-The Worldwide Leader? Don't you have to have competition? Do they mean ESPN vs. ESPN2? It's like Wal*Mart saying there the best over the Dollar Store. Shut up.
9. They rip off Interviews
-HBO has sued ESPN for stealing there interviews, which is true and documented.
8. Budweiser Hot Seat
-BUY BEER! BUY MORE BUD! Oh, a cheap interview with a weird name, thats all it is. All the athletes do is say, "I can't answer that," or they blow it off.
7. Stuart Scott
-This guy is a cross eyed slang machine. He is not funny, knows nothing about sports. He's on there for black viewers and actually said "pimp slap" on the air and for an excuse said it was "part of our culture." Shut up.
6. ESPN Insider
-Wow, ESPN Insider, the next day you can see it on SportsCenter. And you don't have to pay 30 bucks for it.
5. There Website
-You need to download all these programs to be able to play or show pages, which is BS. To view a simple ESPN NBA Draft page I have to download crap, screw em'.
4. ESPN "Shorts"
-Did you see these things? Little stupid segments full of product placement, for what? A bad scout finds a lawnmower? What? They would play them like crazy, 1 for 2 weeks and then they started 2 new ones but never finished them because they sucked. Even Wilbon on PTI said briefly not knowing he was still on, "Those things are stupid." That sums it up.
3. They stopped running SC anchor Commericals!
-They were halarious, and they stopped, then started pumping out stupid ones. Shame.
2. Lack of Highlights
-I watch SportsCenter to see how the Brewers or Bucks did. I don't watch to see Lavar Arrington play Hearsay, or hear two idiots blabbing over non-issues. Highlights are now 15 seconds long with 2 stat lines. Thats it.
1. THEY OVERHYPE EVERYTHING AND THEN WONDER WHY SOMETHING IS OVERHYPED.
-ESPN is the only sports you can regularly watch, so to fill time between product placed beer ad's they have to interview unimportant people and blab about stupid crap. So they start hyping things and then the whole country starts talking it, and then ESPN wonders why things are overhyped, and it boggles my mind.
OFFCIAL ESPN OVER-HYPE LIST OF RECENT MEMORY.
-LeBron
-Carmelo
-Rookie of the year Race
-Steroids
-BALCO
-Barry Bonds
-Terreal Owens
-The Lakers
-Bob Knight
-Joe Horn phone fiasco
-Rush Limbaugh comments
-Larry Bird comments
-Dante Hall for MVP BS
-Colorado scandal
-Corked bat, Sammy Sosa
-Eli Manning
