I'm a ESPN hater and proud. They toss out highlights for corporate sponsored interviews and mini-promos and cut programming for Bonds/Mays HR fiasco, they talk with there legal people about the Kobe case wheneser he LANDS in Colorado even when nothing happens.....They cut games to just a few seconds and show only 2-3 stat lines leaving out Carlos Boozers 30/20 game for LeBron's 15/4/4 game...They signed Rush Limbo....They have 7 guys chat NBA on NBA Fastbreak...They sign complete knuckleheads (Bill Walton, Screamin' A. Smith, Jim Gray, Chad Ford, Dick Vatale, Tom Tolbert, Grag Anthony, Tim Hardaway, Stuart Scott, George Karl, list goes on.........) They call themselfs the worldwide leader when there the only sports station on Cable....

Never. I love ESPN. It's the best sports station anywhere! Thats because it's the only sports station. They need to start showing highlights instead of this 10-15 second crap.

No, mainly because its really the only decent sports show on TV. I agree with that. Without ESPN, we would have MSNBC or CCN reporting sports. They report like every 20 minutes or something, when ESPN reports either on SC or on the bottomline all the time. Its win no matter what.

i think that ESPN is becoming more of a business rather than a sports information place, i mean ill sit there and about half of the show consists of commercials and the other 2/3rds is useless garble and then the 1/3 is the highlights and such, but thats just my opinon and how it seems to me.

Ever since CNNSI left the air ESPN has cut down on highlights a considerable amount.

100% correct. Everything with ESPN is now corporate. "ESPN 25, sponsored by Ford, Budweiser..."

Sure, sometimes they overhype something (i.e. LeBron James), but it's the best thing out there. The other sport shows are trying to act somewhat like them.
