I know that there is a lot of Brewer fans on here including PJ and brewersheets. I was just letting you know about the upcoming series. I'd like to see Ben Sheets strike out 16 this time!

I think the Braves have since they have the best record against their division in the Majors and turned a once 3 1/2 games behind Philliadelphia to a 4 1/2 game lead. But other teams have played well, too. Who has been the best?

Aw, I was rooting for the Rangers to finally make the playoffs.

The Mets look like they were looking to compete now, not in the long run. They weren't throwing in the towel like a few teams in the past have at the trading deadline.

Man, these guys are playing well. To bad they put themselves in a hole that would take miracle to get out of. I'm gettin' scared of these guys. They are going to erase the 15 game deficit and come back and win the division.

I thought that they were going to Puerto Rico or Las Vegas?

I loved seeing my boy Varitek beat the crap out of A-rod!

He is an awesome center fielder, but he's really struggled at hitting. He always strikes out in clutch situations and he has hit into a lot of double plays. Should the Braves trade him when his contract runs out or wait for the breakout year?

Man, this thing is going back and forth. The NL East is definitely going down to the wire. Who knows? Maybe FLA or the Mets might get hot. Then we'd really have a race for the ages.

After tonight, it looks like they're competing with the Phillies. ;D

The Braves are back and are tied for the lead in the NL East with the Phillies and play them tonight. It's amazing how a team like the Braves who have played more Rookies than I've ever seen could get right back to where they left off. Nick Green, Adam LaRouche, Charles Thomas(batting avg. is like .350), and of course Johnny Estrada have helped the cause greatly.

Why? I loved this guy. He played for the Braves for a short amount of time and I remember as a young kid liking him because of his nickname. He's 7 HR's away from 500. I doubt he'll ever get there now. It's a shame.

The Brewers aren't getting anything. They really suck right now.

Green is in a slump that will probably last until the end of his career.
