I think he goes the whole season but ends up blowing a save in the Playoffs.

No pitcher should blow a save because they are put in late in the game while there winning.

He will. He's good, but i'd still take Rivera over him.

Yes i was a Great streak But i still can'tstand Gagne his strrike zone is huge. Umps are just scared they will need new wheels if they make a bad call. I saw this on Mad Tv and we need one. we need a Buffy the Umpier slayer. Oh wait we have one its called the players if the call isn't there way.

I knew he wouldn't get 100. He will blow another save before his streak gets up to 25.

No pitcher should blow a save because they are put in late in the game while there winning. thats the most ridiculous thing i've ever heard. it's like saying, pitchers shouldn't give up any runs cause they're there to get hitters out. 84 in a row is astounding. no one has ever come close to that.

now that i think about it the streak is nothing. the job is to not alow a run. On ESPN they showed where that streak compared to others. I don't think it stands up to be in the top ten. here are ten thing better. Not in order 1. Brett Favre game streak 2. Jim Marshell consecutive NFL games 282 3. Bears having 17 wins in a row 4. Joe D's streak 5. Cal Ripken jr. consecutive games 6. Ac greens NBA consecutive games played 1177 7. Most consecutive free throws Ted st. Martin 5221 8.Doug Jarvis Nhl 964 games in a row 9. most consecutive sB without being picked off 152 10. Celtics 7 championships in a row 11. maddux 4 gold gloves in a row 12. Jack Chesbro 41 wins in a row 13. Ed Walsh 40 wins in a row 14. Christy Mathewson 37 wins in a row 15. 59 shutout innings in a row Orel Hershiser 16. Games Played 1,107 in a row Steve Garvey 17. 2 no hitters in a row by Johnny Vander Meer 18. 16 seasons in a row 50 or more receptions Rice I could keep going but that is a good record but does not compare

now that i think about it the streak is nothing. the job is to not alow a run. no not true. actually the job is to keep the lead and therefore save the win.

Gagne is good pitcher but we have to keep in mind how good of a defense he has behind him. And a lot of luck.

I'm actually impressed with the consecutive free throws, considering no one seems to care enough to mention it.
